Custom Apparel Packaging Boxes for Retail, Gifting and E-Commerce
Create branded packaging for clothing, accessories and merchandise with rigid gift boxes, folding cartons, mailer boxes, tissue paper and bags. Start with flexible quantities, structural support and samples before bulk production.
Start with a practical quantity for a new collection, limited drop or seasonal release. We recommend the MOQ based on your box structure, finishes and number of designs, so you can test demand without holding unnecessary packaging inventory.
Use shared box sizes and coordinated tissue paper, stickers, labels or bags across different garments. A well-planned packaging system can reduce tooling costs, simplify stock control and keep the whole collection visually consistent.
Review the dimensions, artwork and finishes through sampling before production begins. We confirm the production schedule and shipping plan early, helping you avoid packaging delays when your collection is ready to launch.
Packaging for Different Apparel Use Cases
From everyday shipping to premium gifting, choose a structure that fits your product, sales channel and customer experience.

Recyclable paperboard packaging keeps babywear and lightweight garments neatly presented.

A collapsible rigid gift box presents hats professionally while reducing storage and shipping volume.

Bold printed boxes make T-shirts, merchandise and collector releases more memorable.

Kraft mailer boxes provide practical protection for clothing and accessories in transit.

What Should Buyers Ask Packaging Suppliers About PPWR?
PPWR is changing how packaging buyers evaluate materials, structures, documentation, and future compliance requirements. In this guide, I explain what buyers should ask packaging suppliers before approving new projects or reorders. I cover material specifications, packaging BOMs, laminations, window films, inserts, recyclability, food-contact considerations, supplier documentation, and structural optimization. I also explain why buyers should review packaging step by step instead of redesigning everything at once, using sampling and performance testing to reduce sourcing and production risks.

PET vs PLA Window Films for Packaging: Which Is Better?
PET and PLA are the two most common transparent window films used in paper packaging. While PET is widely valued for its durability, clarity, and established recycling infrastructure, PLA attracts brands seeking renewable materials and compostable packaging options. This guide compares PET and PLA window films from a packaging buyer’s perspective, covering sustainability, recyclability, transportation performance, cost considerations, and real-world applications. It also explains when each material makes the most sense based on product requirements, distribution conditions, and brand sustainability goals.

What Food-Safe Barrier Coatings Are Used in Paper Packaging?
Food-safe barrier coatings play a critical role in protecting paper packaging from grease, moisture, oxygen, and water vapor. This guide explains how different coating technologies such as PE, PLA, wax, water-based, and dispersion coatings work, and when they should be used. It also compares barrier requirements for chocolate, bakery, coffee, supplement, and frozen food packaging. Buyers will learn how to evaluate packaging risks, choose suitable barrier solutions, and prepare more accurate RFQs for custom food packaging projects.
The FAQs About Packaging solutions
How do I choose the right box size for folded clothing?
Measure the garment after it has been folded and wrapped, not its unfolded size. Include tissue paper, inserts, cards and accessories in the calculation. We use these packed dimensions to recommend the internal box size and confirm the fit with a physical sample before production.
Can several apparel sizes or SKUs share the same box?
Often, yes. Similar garments can share one box size by adjusting the folding method, tissue paper or internal support. This can reduce tooling costs and simplify packaging inventory. We recommend testing the largest and smallest products in each proposed box before approving the final structure.
Does a rigid apparel gift box need an outer shipping carton?
Usually, yes. A rigid gift box is designed for presentation, not direct courier handling. For e-commerce delivery, it should normally be placed inside a protective corrugated shipping carton. If you want one box to handle both presentation and shipping, a printed corrugated mailer may be more practical.
Can apparel packaging be supplied flat to reduce storage space?
Folding cartons and mailer boxes are normally supplied flat. Collapsible rigid boxes can also fold down while retaining a premium appearance after assembly. Traditional rigid boxes arrive fully assembled and require more storage space. The best structure depends on your presentation requirements, packing process and warehouse capacity.
Can I split one order across different sizes, colors or collections?
This may be possible when the boxes share the same structure and dimensions. Different sizes require separate cutting dies, while different artwork or colors may require additional printing setup. Send us your SKU breakdown so we can determine which components can be shared and quote each variation clearly.
What should I check when approving an apparel packaging sample?
Check the garment fit, opening experience, box strength, paper texture, printed colors, logo position and finishing details. You should also test how the packed box fits inside its shipping carton. We record the approved specifications so bulk production can be checked against the same reference.
I changed the artwork 4 times, thought they’d get annoyed. Nope. Still polite, still quick. That’s rare.
